So, the government may shut down due to Idiots. I was reading an article and they listed the items on the Republicans bill and I am sorry I agree with it. Most of it was with the Environment, don't they have enough say with what we do with our own land. Also we are talking about not paying our Men and Women of the military just so we can tell some girl or women it is okay to not use protection, you can just abort it. Give me a break!!! If you can shut down the government because there is no money to pay salaries then why did you vote to make it where you don't go without pay and on top of that vote yourself a raise every year. Since you all are not doing your job, come home!! We don't need you acting like you care when you can't agree to disagree and keep things going. I have an issue with people that think they know it all. There are different kinds of those and they are as follows. Insecure These are the ones that want everyone to think that they know everything and don't want to ask for help when they really don't know. Also they don't want to take the ideas of others because if they accept those ideas then theirs were not good or right. This type can be dangerous to be around as they will stop at nothing to get what they want even if it means removing the person that has better ideas from the equation. Over the head talkers These are the ones that have knowledge and the know how to use it but can't put it in layman's terms. This can be a professor, local geek or just someone that has studied a lot. These people are so smart that when they talk you wish you would have put more hairspray on so that at least your hair would have caught it. Why is it that some people have no respect, but yet they expect others to respect them??? When I come across someone that expects respect from me I will give it until I find out that do not respect me. Respect is something that is given in the beginning, but it has to be backed up to keep it. I know alot of people say it has to be earned, but there are some instances that you have to give it no matter what. I would not go up to my bosses and just flat out disrepect them even though I did not agree with them and thought that they were totally wrong. I would not disrepect a co- worker by lying about them or to them. Are people really thinking that it is okay to disrespect others. Has their up bringing changed so much from when I was being raised? As the song by DC Talk says "Love is a verb". Love is not something that you can just say and not have anything to back it up with, you have to show it also. I remember the first time my husband said he loved me. It was my birthday, the first time he met my family. He gave me a card and in it he wrote " I think I love you". I didn't know what to say. We had just been going out with each other for about a month then. I could not reciprocate by saying that because it was so early. It did not take me long to know that I did in fact, love him. Over almost 4 years of marriage I know that he truly loves me and I him. In the first 6 months of marriage he had to show his love for me that some people will never have to do. Welcome to my blog!! I have been thinking about writing for awhile now and not until I was watching the movie "Julie and Julia" have I just said " let's go!". The title of my blog is "In My Humble Opinion" and it is going to be just that. I normally don't state my opionion when talking but feel liberated when I put in down. I may hit some heavy subjects on what is going on in the world and you may not agree with me but that is your right to do so. I may hit on some light subjects like my dogs that are laying in my lap right now who does not have a care in the world. No matter what I write about it will be from my heart.
